MORE The Save Printer Information with Layout option allows each layout to have a different printer associated with it. DAZzle automatically compensates for the difference between the actual paper size and the printer paper size. That is, by selecting 8 1/2 x 11 inches as the paper size and feeding an envelope, NO unprintable region is present. This means that return addresses, barcodes and images cannot be placed near the edge of the envelope. For example, most laser printers have an unprintable region of about 1/4 inch around all sides of the paper or envelope. However, some printers impose limitations on some paper sizes thereby requiring the selection of a paper size different from the media selection. Normally, select 8 1/2 x 11 inches, letter size, or, if available, the size of paper that matches your media selection. Most printers only support a limited number of different paper sizes, while DAZzle can print on a large variety of sizes. This paper size is not the size of your envelope or label, and the paper size does not have to be the same as your selected media. MORE Select the paper size for your printer. See your printer documentation to find the recommended method for printing envelopes. Not all printers or feed options print envelopes properly. If you print envelopes, you should test your selected feed option to see if the envelope prints correctly. MORE Select the paper feed method you use with the selected printer. MORE Select the printer that DAZzle uses to print your mailpiece. If the communication between Windows and Open Dental is bad, this should fix it. If the printer is a network printer, make sure you have access to the server location.Problem: Open Dental stops responding when attempting to print.
